If you had told me a few years ago that I’d leave a high-paying job to handcraft sneakers, I might not have believed you. But here I am—a mom of two, a proud rescuer of stray cats, and the founder of Embrofit.
It all started with my sister’s wedding. I remember seeing her in her stunning gown, but her plain sneakers caught my eye. “Why sneakers?” I asked. She smiled and said, “Because heels hurt, and I need to be comfortable all day.” That stuck with me. Why should anyone have to choose between elegance and comfort on their most special days?
That night, I stayed up stitching pearls and lace onto her sneakers. By the next morning, they weren’t just shoes anymore—they were a part of her story, a piece of her memory. Seeing her joy sparked something in me, and I realized I wanted to create that same magic for others.

When I’m not in my studio crafting shoes, I’m enjoying the simplest moments in life—chasing after my kids, cuddling my rescue cats, or sipping coffee while dreaming up ways to make your special moments even more magical.
